Our Story Begins In The East (of Vancouver)
Co-founders, Jason Apple and Jory Simkin, felt the spirit of the Dragon—prosperity, abundance, good fortune—was missing in our verdant city by the sea. Driven by an auspicious vision to entwine the Dragon spirit with fresh West Coast ingredients, Southeast Asian culinary traditions, and the mobility to bring delicious street food to your 'hood, in 2010 they launched Roaming Dragon, thus leading Vancouver's food truck revolution. The duo (and the truck) has been featured on the Food Network, the New York Times, ET Canada, Maclean's and various other media. Today, the Dragon still roams, twisting and weaving through Vancouver's streets to cater events big and small, from corporate holiday parties to intimate soirees, community events and just about any other event where food, drinks, and people meet. Because we do Pan-Asian like no one else in the city, clients keep coming back to us to help them realize their event vision into something special, fun, and most of all, delicious!
